On March 3, 2022, Second Harvest Food Bank paid tribute to the decades-long efforts of the County of Santa Cruz where I have co-chaired efforts to raise funds every year for the Food Bank’s annual Holiday Food and Fund Drive. It was an honor to accept this award and speak about how the County’s competitive yet collaborative work has helped raise over 2,855,000 meals since the year 2000. I am so proud of all the fund raisers for our collective good work to help feed people in need. To my fundraising colleagues, past and present who’ve helped lead this effort – I appreciate you!
