Why I'm Running

As a Trustee for Cabrillo College I’ve focused on equal access to an affordable education. I’ve prioritized diversity and equity on our campuses, with a focus on bolstering state policies and funding to support students most in need.

A 30-year resident of Santa Cruz County, I’m a proud Cabrillo College graduate. My experience at Cabrillo helped shape who I am today. I want students from all backgrounds and education levels to access the world-class education I had as a Cabrillo College student. Read Adam’s full statement…

About Me

Since graduating Cabrillo in 2002, I’ve worked in nonprofit leadership and in state and county government. I’m currently the Senior Analyst for Administration with the County of Santa Cruz Human Services Department. Prior to this I managed administration for the Santa Cruz County Office of the Public Defender, and managed $10 million in child-welfare, housing support, and employment services contracts with local nonprofit partners with the Human Services Department’s Contracting Unit.

Public service have given me a deep appreciation for the complexities in addressing community needs. It has placed me at the heart of work being done by educators, government, nonprofits and business leaders to improve our community.
